New Delhi, Aug 11: Spice Money, a fintech subsidiary of Digispice Technologies, today announced the launch of its UPI Cash Withdrawal Service across its Business Correspondent (BC) network.
With this launch, neighbourhood Spice Money Adhikari shops across the country are transformed into UPI-enabled cash withdrawal points (digital mini-ATMs), making cash access more convenient for customers in rural and semi-urban India, the company said in a statement.
The service enables customers to withdraw cash using any UPI-enabled app at over 16 lakh neighbourhood Spice Money Adhikari outlets, offering a secure, cardless alternative alongside existing channels such as Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) and micro-ATMs (mATMs).
This effectively turns small neighbourhood shops into UPI-enabled cash withdrawal points, allowing customers to access cash from a trusted local retailer instead of travelling to an ATM or bank branch.
Fully interoperable across banks and UPI applications, the service strengthens cash accessibility in areas with limited banking infrastructure.
Customers can withdraw up to ₹5,000 per transaction and ₹10,000 per day.
The launch also creates an additional revenue stream for Spice Money’s network of 16 lakh Adhikaris, who will earn commissions on every withdrawal transaction, further strengthening their role as trusted last-mile financial service providers while improving the commercial viability of their businesses.
To drive awareness and adoption, Spice Money has undertaken an integrated performance marketing initiative centred around its ‘Cash Se Cash – Spice Money UPI Cash Point’ campaign.
The campaign positions local Spice Money Adhikari shops as the nearest UPI Cash Points, enabling customers to withdraw cash using any UPI app at their trusted neighbourhood store.
True to its ‘Cash se Cash’ proposition, every cash withdrawal not only gives customers instant access to cash but also enables Spice Money Adhikaris to earn cash, a commission on each transaction, creating a sustainable additional source of income.
Supported by the Basanti Talkies, Shanti Talkies, and Rocky Talkies digital films, the campaign highlights the convenience of turning everyday local shops into accessible cash withdrawal points.
The UPI Cash Withdrawal service is available through the Spice Money application, enabling customers to withdraw cash by making a UPI payment using any major UPI app, including PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and BHIM.
The launch reinforces Spice Money’s mission to build a robust digital financial infrastructure for Bharat by making cash access more convenient, inclusive, and accessible while empowering rural entrepreneurs to play a larger role in India’s digital economy. (BVI)
