Noida International Airport to start commercial flight operations from June 15, major milestone in aviation

New Delhi, May 1: In a major news regarding the National Capital Region of Delhi, the Noida International Airport will start commercial flight operations from June 15.

IndiGo will operate the first flight from the airport located in Jewar area of Noida in Uttar Pradesh, marking the beginning of scheduled passenger services, the Airport announced today.

This will be followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express.

Further details on routes and schedules will be announced in the coming weeks.

Commencement of the commercial flight operations will mark a major milestone for aviation connectivity in North India.

The launch follows the airport’s inauguration by the Prime Minister and the approval of the Aerodrome Security Program (ASP) by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, confirming that all security systems and operational protocols are in place in line with regulatory standards.
