Several customers have complained that subscriptions like JioHotstar and other streaming services are either not getting activated or showing errors after recharge.

According to recent reports, some Jio prepaid plans have undergone changes, and users may notice differences in OTT access compared to earlier offerings. In certain cases, apps display messages like “Upgrade to Watch” despite an active recharge plan.

How to Fix Missing OTT Benefits on Jio

If your OTT subscription is not working after recharge, try these simple steps:

  • Open the MyJio app and check your active recharge plan details.
  • Log in to the OTT app using the same mobile number linked with the recharge.
  • Clear the app cache and sign in again.
  • Use the “Restore Subscription” option available in the MyJio app.
  • If the issue continues, contact Jio Customer Care or the OTT platform’s support team.

Jio currently offers several OTT bundled plans that include benefits such as JioHotstar, SonyLIV, Zee5, Prime Video Mobile Edition, and YouTube Music Premium. However, some users are still experiencing activation delays and syncing issues after recharge.
