Availability of Fuel Remains Stable Across Delhi Network: BPCL

New Delhi, June 6: In words of reassurance, State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) today said fuel availability across its outlets in Delhi remains stable, supported by regular stock replenishment and efficient logistics operations.

It said the company continues to ensure uninterrupted energy availability across Delhi through its extensive supply chain and robust retail network, maintaining stable supplies of Petrol (Motor Spirit), Diesel (High-Speed Diesel), CNG, and LPG across the National Capital.

“As Delhi’s economic, commercial, and transportation activities continue uninterrupted, BPCL has maintained seamless energy supplies across its retail outlets and distribution network, ensuring that consumers, businesses, transport operators, and essential service providers have reliable access to fuel and LPG,” the company said in a statement.

“The company’s integrated supply chain continues to operate smoothly, ensuring that fuel stations and LPG distribution channels across the city are adequately equipped to meet consumer demand,” it added.

Sales of Petrol, Diesel, CNG And LPG

During the mont of May, Petrol (MS) sales in Delhi crossed 27,800 MT, compared to over 27,100 MT during the corresponding period last year, registering a growth of approximately 2.5%, the BPCL said.

It said Diesel (HSD) sales also recorded steady growth, reaching over 16,500 MT compared to more than 16,100 MT in May 2025, reflecting a growth of approximately 2.9%.

BPCL also supplied over 33,400 MT of CNG during the month, supporting Delhi’s extensive public transport network, commercial vehicle fleet, and growing adoption of cleaner mobility solutions, the statement said.

In addition to transportation fuels, BPCL continues to cater to a large LPG consumer base across Delhi.

During May, BPCL supplied over 7.7 lakh Domestic LPG cylinders, along with more than 18,000 Commercial LPG cylinders and over 22,000 FTL LPG cylinders, ensuring uninterrupted energy access for households, restaurants, hotels, institutions, and commercial establishments across the city, the company said.

“BPCL remains committed to ensuring reliable and uninterrupted energy supplies across Delhi. Our supply chain and logistics network continue to operate efficiently, enabling us to maintain adequate availability of fuels and LPG while meeting the evolving energy requirements of consumers and businesses. We will continue to closely monitor demand patterns and ensure seamless energy access across the National Capital,” said a BPCL spokesperson.

BPCL’s fuel stations and LPG distribution network across Delhi continue to function normally, supported by regular product movement, efficient inventory management, and coordinated logistics operations.
