New Delhi, July 30: Swiggy has narrowed its consolidated net loss to Rs 791 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year from Rs 1,197 crore in Q1FY26.
Revenue from operations rose to Rs 6,812 crore in Q1FY27 from Rs 4,961 crore in Q1FY26.
Swiggy’s food delivery business Gross Order Value (GOV) grew 17.4 per cent YoY to Rs 9,490 crore, while quick commerce GOV grew 39.8 per cent YoY to Rs 7,907 crore.
Food delivery revenue rose to Rs 2,208 crore from Rs 1,800 crore.
On the other hand, quick commerce revenue marked an uptick and rose to Rs 1,232 crore from Rs 806 crore during the same period.
Out of Home (OOH) GOV grew 44.8 per cent YoY and adjusted Ebitda margin improved to 0.9 per cent of GOV.
Normalised for restaurant-driven cancellations (due to LPG supplies) during the initial part of Q1FY27, the like-for-like GOV growth would have been around 18 per cent YoY, the company said in an exchange filing.
Food delivery monthly transacting users (MTUs) grew 17.8 per cent YoY to reach 19.2 million.
Adjusted Ebitda improved by Rs 100 crore YoY to Rs 292 crore. Q1 also saw a seasonal impact on margins, which will normalise through the year and annual hike during the quarter, the company said in its filing.
The company added 28 dark stores to take the total to 1,171 stores across 131 cities, covering 4.9 million square feet.
Quick commerce hit break-even contribution target in May 2026 with an overall contribution for the quarter at -0.2 per cent of GOV.
Adjusted Ebitda margin improved to -9.8 per cent from -10.9 per cent in Q4FY26, with quick commerce posting an overall loss of Rs 778 crore for the quarter.
The company’s standalone budget food delivery service Toing expanded to 50 cities, with two out of three new users on Toing being new category users, enabling a substantial number of restaurant partners to achieve economies of scale through high-volume demand.
