Gurugram, May 12: Healthtech company MedPredict Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched MediElaj, an AI-powered healthcare app and smart diagnostic kiosk platform aimed at improving access to affordable and preventive healthcare services across India.

The platform combines artificial intelligence with digital health services through a connected ecosystem of mobile applications and smart kiosks. Developed to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility, MediElaj targets urban, semi-urban and rural communities by offering early diagnosis and health screening solutions closer to where people live and work.

Founded by Debjit Patra, the company aims to democratise quality healthcare delivery for underserved populations. According to Patra, the platform has been designed to improve affordability, scalability and accessibility in diagnostics through AI-driven healthcare technology.

MediElaj’s smart kiosks are equipped with more than 30 diagnostic services, including ECG, SpO₂ monitoring and vitals assessment. The kiosks are designed for deployment in neighbourhood clinics, workplaces, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, government health centres and community healthcare facilities. The accompanying app, which has reportedly crossed 100,000 downloads, offers AI-assisted symptom analysis, wellness tools and patient support services.

The company claims its AI diagnostic engine currently operates at over 90 per cent efficiency, with ongoing clinical refinements expected to further improve accuracy as more healthcare data is collected.

According to MedPredict, an early pilot deployment at a community centre completed more than 200 diagnoses and over 350 non-invasive tests, indicating strong demand for low-cost healthcare screening services at the grassroots level.

The company has also entered into collaborations with hospitals and educational institutions through multiple MoUs focused on healthcare research and innovation. Discussions are reportedly underway with governments in two western Indian states for pilot healthcare initiatives, subject to clinical validation.

On the compliance front, MedPredict stated that it has received ISO 13485 and ISO 14791 certifications and secured Test and Commercial Licences under Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), ISO and DPDPA regulatory frameworks in India. The company is also preparing for international expansion into Dubai and the United Kingdom.

With the launch of MediElaj, MedPredict is positioning itself as a major player in AI-driven diagnostics and preventive healthcare infrastructure in India.
