Kapurthala (Punjab), Nov 26 (BVI): Marking another milestone in coach production, Rail Coach Factory (RCF) situated in Kapurthala in Punjab has commenced production of coaches for export to Bangladesh Railways.
The initiative forms part of a 200-coach export order, under which RCF will manufacture 20 coaches in the current year.
This batch includes 8 air-conditioned (AC) coaches and 12 non-AC coaches, all designed to meet the operational and passenger requirements of Bangladesh Railways.
RCF has a proven track record of delivering high-quality rolling stock to Bangladesh Railways.
In 2016–17, the factory successfully manufactured and supplied 120 LHB coaches, custom-engineered to suit the specific requirements of Bangladesh’s rail network.
The new order further solidifies RCF’s reputation as a trusted partner in international rail manufacturing.
