LPG cylinder gets costlier by ₹60

New Delhi, March 7 (NVI): With effect from today, a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder will cost ₹60 more.

The price of domestic cooking gas has been increased across the country but actual price of a cylinder will depend on local taxes and transportation charges in different states and Union Territories.

In Delhi, it will now cost ₹913 as against ₹853.

The increase in cooking gas prices is expected to impact household budgets, as LPG remains a primary cooking fuel for millions of families across India.

The price hike comes against the backdrop of the war raging in West Asia, which has caused disruptions in production and movement of the fuel.(BVI)
