New Delhi, June 18, 2026: JioStar and PVR INOX Limited, the country’s largest cinema exhibition company, today announced a landmark partnership to bring the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 to the big screen for the first time ever.
Building on a shared commitment to bringing world-class sporting experiences beyond the home screen, the collaboration marks the first-ever theatrical screening of live international women’s cricket in India.
Under this association, PVR INOX will screen India’s group-stage fixtures, both Semi-Finals, and the Final live across select cinemas nationwide, taking the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
To ensure maximum accessibility and encourage wider participation, tickets will be priced between INR 99 and INR 150.
The initiative aims to amplify support for Team India while bringing fans together for a shared viewing experience during the biggest tournament in women’s cricket, PVR INOX said.
The screening rollout has been designed to scale progressively through the tournament, with the number of locations expanding as the stakes rise.
Fans will be able to watch India’s group-stage matches and the knockout fixtures across a minimum of 168 screenings at PVR INOX cinemas, making it the widest theatrical rollout of women’s cricket in India to date. (BVI)
