Konkan Railway Signs MoU with Virtual Galaxy Infotech For AI-led Collaboration

New Delhi, Jun 10: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited, a provider of AI-enabled hybrid SaaS and enterprise software solutions, to “jointly explore and pursue”   technology-led modernization opportunities.

Under the MoU, the two organizations will collaborate in areas including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Conversational AI, Core Banking Solutions, Cyber Security Solutions, Digital Payment Systems, Data Analytics, Workflow Automation, Smart Surveillance Systems, Mobile Applications, Data Centre & Cloud Services, and Digital Transformation Projects.

The collaboration seeks to leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency, governance, and digital innovation across public sector and infrastructure organizations, a company statement said.

The MoU establishes a broad framework for cooperation and mutual understanding between the parties and is intended to facilitate the identification, evaluation, and execution of technology initiatives.

The agreement is valid for a period of two years from the date of execution and may be extended by mutual consent of both parties.

Commenting on the development, Avinash Shende, Chairman, Executive Director & CFO, Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited, said, “We believe this partnership will open new avenues for innovation and enable us to contribute meaningfully to modernization efforts across railway, public sector, and infrastructure organizations.”
