Shubhankar Sen gets additional charge as Director (HR) in BPCL

New Delhi, Apr 3: Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), has taken over the additional charge of Director (Human Resources) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of India’s leading oil and gas companies and a Fortune Global 500 institution.

 

In his additional role as Director (HR), Sen will oversee the organisation’s human capital strategy, with a focus on talent development, leadership building, organisational transformation, and fostering a future-ready workforce aligned with BPCL’s long-term growth and sustainability ambitions, the company has said.

 

As Director (Marketing), he has been instrumental in strengthening BPCL’s market presence, driving customer-centric initiatives, and advancing the company’s integrated energy transition strategy, it said in a statement.

 

Sen is a graduate of the University of Calcutta and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Executive Management from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
With over three decades of rich and diverse experience at BPCL, he has led and contributed across key marketing verticals including Retail, LPG, Lubricants, Aviation, Industrial & Commercial, Gas, and Consumer Retailing.
Additionally, Sen has been named the Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), succeeding Raj Kumar Dubey, in accordance with the established rotational nomination process between the company’s promoter entities.
