BMW completes delivery of 1000 vehicles in i7 electric sedan segment

Gurugram, Jan 30 (BVI) BMW has delivered 1,000 units of its flagship electric sedan – BMW i7 in India since its debut, marking a milestone in luxury electric mobility delivering.

The first-ever BMW i7 is an all-electric luxury sedan that offers innovation, visionary design, and powerful driving dynamics that make a striking impression.

Fifth generation BMW eDrive technology in the BMW i7 eDrive50 features a highly integrated drive unit, according to the company.

The car instantly accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in 5.5 seconds. It produces an output of 449 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. The car has a range of up to 603 kms (WLTP).

The headlights are divided into two parts. At the top are the daytime running lights, complete with the BMW Crystal Headlights manufactured by Swarovski.

Another distinguished feature is the strikingly illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille surround that lends an unmistakeable aura to the silhouette of the car.

Commenting on this, BMW Group India President and CEO Hardeep Singh Brar said crossing the 1,000 unit mark reflects the strong resonance of BMW i7 with customers who seek the perfect fusion of avant garde design, electrifying performance, and uncompromised luxury.
