New Delhi, Nov 28 (BVI) Window Magic, one of India’s leading providers of premium uPVC and aluminium fenestration solutions, has emerged as a trusted partner for a social housing project in Maldives.
The Hulhumalé Phase II Social Housing Project, commissioned by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC), marks a major step in the Maldives’ affordable-housing development, focused on creating sustainable, well-planned, and modern living spaces for citizens.
Under this initiative, Window Magic has successfully installed engineered uPVC windows and doors across 1,400 three-bedroom housing units, significantly enhancing comfort, safety, and long-term durability for future residents, the company said in a statement today.
Strategically located in Hulhumalé Phase II – one of the Maldives’ largest urban expansion zones – the project is part of the government’s broader “Gedhoruveriya Housing Scheme,” which aims to provide thousands of families with access to quality, affordable homes.
The development has been progressing rapidly, with senior Maldivian officials, including the Indian High Commissioner, reviewing its advancement and appreciating India-Maldives collaboration in large-scale housing infrastructure.
Executed in partnership with India’s NBCC and VCL, the project represents a strong Indo-Maldivian cooperation model in sustainable construction and urban development.
As the chosen fenestration partner, Window Magic has been entrusted with designing and installing uPVC systems that can withstand the region’s saline, humid, and high-wind coastal conditions while ensuring thermal insulation and energy efficiency. (BVI)
